Please Help me to bake with my convection oven?

This is the first time i m going to use a convection oven.I am gonna try pastry sheets with stuffing inside.I preheated the oven to 400F for 10 minutes.But when i place my sheets in a foil tray the red light goes off.I havent used a oven before.What should i do??
Is it enough to preheat the oven to bake something or do i need to turn it on again after sometimes??

Most of your packaged products should have directions for convection ovens…how the oven works is it redistributes the heat to cook things faster…

With baked goods (pastries, cakes, cookies, etc.) you need to cook at the same temperature for a much shorter time, or reduce the temperature by about 25-35 degrees and cook for about the same time the recipe calls for…

Don’t EVER cook roasts or meats with the convection oven feature of the appliance, because it dries out the meat and makes it like shoe leather…
