How do I “winterize” my grill?

I have a gas grill out on the porch. Do I have to bring in the tank for the winter? Will the gas line to the burner get weathered/fatigued by the cold?

The tank should be able to take the wather, although it is good to keep it all dry wth a cover. Usually the gas jets get plugged with insects when unused for a time, so it isn’t a bad ide to remove and wrap the burner and cover the gas inlet with a plastic and a rubber band to prevent a lot of claning in the spring.

The lava rocks get full of dried crud and it i a good time to clean or replace them.
