A George Foreman Rotisserie can save you time and money. There will be no need to make a last minute stop to pick up the night’s meal at a busy grocery store on your way home from work. This rotisserie can make not only chicken, but all meats and fish and it will roast vegetables as well. Priced reasonably at approximately eighty dollars (you could get one for less if you wait for a sale), it will serve you well for years to come since it is durable and easy to use. We all know that rotisserie chicken is famous for its good flavor and juicy meat. Using a George Foreman Rotisserie takes little effort. It comes with an instruction booklet and if using it solely for chicken, you will only need a whole chicken and your favorite herbs.

In addition to an instruction booklet, the rotisserie includes a roasting spit, kabob skewer, vegetable basket, flat basket, tools for taking the hot chicken out of the rotisserie and a removable drip tray. Remember to wash all of these items before use. In order to make a rotisserie chicken, you will buy a whole chicken, remove the parts inside that you will not use, and then wash the chicken thoroughly inside and out. Shake out any water left behind and then season the chicken. You can sprinkle on salt, pepper, Old Bay seasoning or any herb or spice that you prefer. You will then place the chicken into the roasting spit (it will fit down through the middle of the chicken), then place the provided cap at one end of the spit and set it down at that end. Very good pictures are shown in the instruction manual so you will have no problems doing this properly. The next step is to insert the drip tray to ascertain that all drippings are caught during cooking. Close the front door of the rotisserie, plug it in and set the timer. As with all chicken, it will take approximately twenty minutes per pound; so if you have a five pound chicken, it will be done in one hour forty minutes. When the chicken is done, use the tools provided to remove the spit. Have a platter ready to place the chicken on and you are ready to enjoy a great meal. Always remember to immediately clean all the components after each use to ensure that your George Foreman Rotisserie continues to perform at maximum level. Some of the smaller parts can be put into the dishwasher.

This is also a great appliance for a student. As we all know, college students tend to eat greasy, fast foods that are unhealthy. With a George Foreman rotisserie, they will able to cook chickens and other foods easily once or twice a week and the food will last them for several days afterwards. They will not be tempted to go out and spend money on foods that are not good for them. So they will not only save money, but they will be eating healthy as well.
