Which do you think is better for a gas grill? One with a powder coated finish or one with stainless steel?

I should have mentioned that it will be on the exterior portions of the grill, like the shelves, doors, etc. The grates have a porcelain enameled finish. I stainless may last a long time, but I heard that depending on where you live and what’s in the air, stainless can still rust but you can prevent it if you clean it when something appears on the surface.

Stainless is forever. Powder coat is very durable but can still be scratched and even chipped.
