What kind of metal is used in a rack in Mongolia?

Im building a barbecue and I was wondering what metal is used for Parrilla Mongolia. I'm not too fond of cooking racks and I'm wanting something solid and seems to work!

Cast iron is but should be better conditioned, you can buy large sheets of iron as a format for the kitchen on a plate in most hardware stores larger restaurant, visiting places restaurant supply in your area, you may be able to pick and old flat top grill of a restaurant closing and use it, they are heavy and if the unit is not worth it are set, you can sell up at a good price, very good for everything from chicken to fish, meat, steaks, burgers and easier to clean too.
