¿I can use a pot on a Coleman camp stove Grill?

I just ordered these: And http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001P80GCI/ref=oss_product wonder if it is okay to heat a grill pan on the side. I can not find any information of someone who has used a lot, and hear is iron in the states, you can buy, but not sold in the United Kingdom. Will it be the ruin of the bars of the grill if hot pans on them? Thanks to all and especially Mark. That's exactly what I wanted to know. We can not get the hot plate in the UK (I've looked everywhere online!) But I'll look and see if I can get one sent from the States. I can tell you from personal experience that you do not use a skillet, and certainly not a flat on the grill the stove. This network consists of a Teflon coating, alloy lightweight aluminum melt in the heat storage when covered with a plate of pan or hot pot. I have the stove model and the first time I used it for breakfast I put a flat plate on the grill for pancakes. Everything seemed fine until I took off clean plate and discovered under the grill had melted dramatically. The center of the network is gone, the bones around bent, and large metal balls cast gathered at the bottom of the pan. It was like a pain in the middle of nowhere in the Adirondack Mountains (New York) on private land for a long weekend of camping and off the road. Fortunately, a convenience store usually had a campfire, stainless steel, small grill that was able to reduce the size and use for the rest of my release. He called me and said Coleman instructions explain that you should not use the grill as an extra stove burner. I answered with a simple device, which usually do not read the instructions and warning labels must be in the package and cook. They agreed and sent me a new grill for free.
