my ice maker machine GE refrigerator is not working (ie, the mechanism to push the ice) how to fix?

I would check that the switch is in the position.Try Well, it comes and goes and clicks. The units are designed as switches to perform before the engine should not turn the screw by hand. In the top of the ice shelf should be a lever that raises the level of ice cubes. Check up and down freely. Which is connected to a switch from the factory staging ice. I bet it's a dirty connection in the wiring harness. Clean and good work unit as new.
