Vending Machine Problem – Law – do so at your own risk?

Here's a question I'm having trouble with Andrew was a dealer Automatic and dysfunctional and a block of ice fell from the hands and broke three of his fingers. The machine had a prominent notice on the statement "People with this machine is at your own risk. "Andrew is able to sue the owner of the vending machine for damages for breach of contract? Also, What is the law in the "do so at their own risk?" If I use a machine and get hurt and note the sign of what is the law on this? If I use the machine but the opinion of the signs of the injury and what is the law on this? In addition, the company would be responsible for the malfunction of the machine, since it can not be predict?
