I recently purchased a convection toaster oven and it doesn’t seem to be working.?

I was trying to make a frozen pizza and the crust came out good but the cheese didn’t even melt. The pizza was so hard and dry.
Is something wrong with this toaster oven? Should I return it? Can you give me some tips on using it.

Not sure what type of toaster oven you have but they do have pre-set buttons (pizza,toast,bake and even convection) .Was the pizza of good quality (noted name) Even if you just use the bake, set it on 425 degrees till done and pizza is in the middle shelf. During the cooking cycle, you should put out and turn the pizza. And the last thing it might be, the oven pre-set temperature could be off. Ex: you set it on 350 degrees but the oven is pushingm out 435 degrees.

Anyway, I hope you can get it to work because they are the best way to cook a frozen pizza.
